The easiest method is not cleaning, but building the right habit. Before turning off cooling, run the unit in fan mode for 20 to 30 minutes to dry the moisture inside. Doing this every time leaves little chance for mold to grow.

- For safety, unplug the power cord or switch off the circuit breaker to completely cut the power.
- Press the latches on both sides of the front cover, slowly lift it, and remove the dust filter.
- Take the filter to the bathroom, soak it in lukewarm water at about 30 degrees, and gently brush both sides along the grain.
